bios seting lost

my acer aspire 5334 laptop immediately on powering display press F2 to enter set up or F12 select boot device. after pressing F2 or F12 tell me to wait or selecting boot menu then ends there i tried discharging the batteries then powering again but still behave the same way and the message stay for as long as the laptop is on at please help

Maybe the MoBo's battery is dead and must be replaced.
