All i can see is someone trying to open a bottle of beer with it plugged in to their computer. one of two things is going to happen. 1 its going to break the USB port, or 2 they are going to spill beer all over their computer/laptop.

Funny you'd mention that, first thing I caught myself imagining in my head was whether or not my usb port is high enough off the desk surface to fit an upright beer bottle underneath.

Exactly! Furthermore, a belt is much harder to lose than just a bottle opener.

The power rail on the USB bus is only +5 volts, so not much of an electrical hazard (though spilling beer could short out your USB port).
