Black screen on computer asking to reboot system?

Hello,
I have just installed a wireless router into my dad's new laptop, however now that i have successfully done that his "main" computer system screen is black & unresponsive & has a message onscreen asking to either delete files or system reboot? Im stumped so any help would be greatly appreciated x

hey arry i got that problem when i start my comp it ask me for reboot or insert a disk...can u help me pls....thank u my email is elkangry28@gmail.com
