Black screen Toshiba

Toshiba Satellite Laptop model C50D-A has black screen. Bough new battery, took out ram and hard drive. Pressed power button, done all the other tricks and still not working. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi Yes just tried, monitor didn't recognize it. Also changed out the CMOS battery

I would suggest trying another external monitor to be sure, as if you can't see on the external monitor at all, or the problem occurs on the external monitor as well, then it is probably the graphics card/GPU that is the problem, which may require the motherboard be replaced.
