blaupunkd tv not turning on

tv not turning on past standby, not remote batteries, been getting worse and worse, now it is stuck on red. tried resetting etc, still no joy

hello, i have a blaupunkt 40 inch lcd tv that is stuck in standby, obviously checked remote, been using standby on tv, its been getting worse and worse, now not turning on at all. do i need a new lcd board?
