I imagine this could be useful for first time moms who might not know the difference between Braxton Hicks and labor contractions, but even as a first time mom I knew the difference. It makes me wonder if this is a necessity or just a reassuring luxury.

I can imagine it might be a good comfort for some people but I personally think it's just an attempt to cash in on parents to be and their anxieties. I can't see it being a really valuable too.
