blown mixer channel

fixing a blown channel on a mixing board. so I lent my Tapco220fx to someone and when it came back, channel 4 no longer worked. The OL light still registers however no sound. would anybody out there know what usually gets blown on a mixing board (resistor, capacitor,ext.) and is this something I could potentially fix myself/

Possibly a capacitor, but unlikely. Almost certainly not a resistor.

My suspicion is an op-amp or BJT as those do tend to be far more temperamental.
