hello,

i have a Tv witch is a monitor as well its a lcd.

i had this monitor working brill on xp i have formatted my hard drive before installing windows 7 ultimate 32-bit and soon as i did the monitor will not work.

re-installed xp and works again on it with no driver updated on it

when i start my pc it shows me the starting windows but then goes blue. when i plug it into my pc it beeps to say its there and the no signal across the screen goes off and just leaves a blue screen. its vga to vga

at the mo iam using a 1998 monitor the size of my living room lol. so as you could tell i need my lcd up and running

If the computer is blue screen...
Go to Tom's XP forum(on this website). Look at the sixth post from the top.
These are the directions to repair XP, using the windows XP installation disk.
This repair does not erase your personal files. But it does restore the operating system, and the video drivers.
Once you do this repair, the computer may start up and run again.
