I have acer aspire v5 122p running on win 8.1. The problem is that the bluetooth is not working. When you turnning it on it just keep on searching for other bluetooth device, it seems that it can't detect. I already reset the laptop to its factory settings and also downloaded a bluetooth driver (qualcomm atheros) at the acer site but it didn't work. Hope somebody can help me. Thanks.

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to uninstall/reinstall the Bluetooth driver of your laptop.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Bluetooth driver.
- Next is to download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- Here's the link: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/Bluetooth/Bluetooth_Atheros_v8.0.1.305_W81x64_A.zip?acerid=635168219883902621&Step1=ULTRA-THIN&Step2=ASPIRE&Step3=ASPIRE%20V5-122P&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6
- Once installed reboot your laptop for all the changes to take effect.
- After the reboot do try connecting again using this link from Microsoft that may help.
