Bluray Not Recognized

I have a Sony bluray sound system. I have a Vizio TV. I can get the sound from the Sony Sound System while I watch TV. However, the bluray player is not recognized so I an unable to use the bluray player part of my sound system.

Not sure what you mean by "not recognized" When you put a disc in to play you get no picture or sound? The BD player in the Sony is broken. If you get sound but no picture then check the video out of the Sony connecting to the TV. Make sure you select that input on the TV.
