Solved! Bootable USB Win 10 Installer: Does this procedure remove my datafiles?

Have Win 10 laptop that has a problem and will not restart.
I am creating a Win 10 Bootable USB. When using this will the procedure remove my data files from my laptop?

Not unless you use it to install windows.

Also, any files you don't want to lose should already be backed up. You never know when your main drive will die... A backup is an extra copy, not your only copy.. I recommend at least 2 extra copies so that when the main drive dies, your backup doesn't turn into your only copy.
