Bose Virtually Invisible 300 wireless surround speakers

I purchased Bose Virtually Invisible® 300 wireless surround speakers thinking I could hook them up to my Onkyo TX NR-626. Got everything unpacked, only to realize that I need the Bose Soundbar to make them work. I don't want to buy the soundbar, I want to use my existing Onkyo system - is there some kind of interface that allows them to work with the Onkyo? Can't find answer on Bose site
