Brand new laptop with slow wifi.

I got a new dell inspiron laptop but when I connect to my wifi I only get like 2Mbps but anything else in the house I get a constant 60Mbps+.

Make and model of your laptop? You might need to check if it needs a BIOS update and you could try uninstalling and reinstalling your wireless adapter's drivers.

All my drivers are up to date and I already tried reinstalling the wifi adapter driver

I connected with a mobile hotspot and the wifi worked perfectly. I also used an ethernet cable and the speeds were fine. It only goes to 2Mbps when Im on the wifi.
