Breaking Reset Acer tablet

Wife reset the tablet because she didn’t know the lock code on it. Now it says we have to use the account it recently synced with to sign it up with google, but that account no longer exists and can’t remember it. How do we break thru that with our new account. It’s just not letting ya reset because of a small error it says. Please, and thank you from

Says device was reset and says to sign in with a Google account recently synced. With that account being gone, how do we get thru to sync it with our new google account?
