brightness of laptop

hi,
I have dell inspiron N5110 window 7 proffessional 32 bit, I cannot encrease or decrease screen brightness. I tried all things which is maintained above but my problen is not solved

please help me

Bring up the onscreen keyboard.
On the real keyboard, as you touch keys the onscreen keyboard keys will light up to match the key you pressed.
See if your Fn key actually works. {I just fixed an HP with this problem this morning. LoL}

Did you re-install Windows and failed to install the Dell's drivers?
