Question Broadcast TV Audio

I can not get Broadcast TV Audio to play though my optical soundbar. All other sources do. Why?

it could be a settings issue on your TV. First, check your TV’s audio settings and ensure that the sound output is set to optical or external speaker. Sometimes, TVs have separate settings for different inputs, so make sure the broadcast TV audio output is configured correctly.

Another thing to check is if the broadcast TV audio format is set to something your soundbar can handle, like PCM instead of Dolby Digital. You can usually find this option in the audio settings menu of your TV.

If these settings are correct and it’s still not working, try unplugging and reconnecting the optical cable to make sure it’s seated properly. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause issues.
