Recently had a laptop/tablet hybrid come in with a broken jack. I've already contacted the seller to see if their warranty is reasonable, but the issue looks like it may be a simple fix, attaching images below, looks like a piece of metal is jutting out and preventing the jack from entering all the way, any suggestions for removing the obstruction?

Hi,

I would say it's not a simple repair because if you could reach it using a small long nose pliers you'll need to replace that port itself that will require solderings. I would suggest taking it to a professional who can do it for you.
