I have a laptop which has a crashed screen, in the sense that when I turn it on, the display is black (blank) in color.

I need to know if I connect it to an external monitor, will it help? Can I extend its display

Furthermore, I don't have an external monitor but I have another laptop. Can I user a VGA cable and connect the crashed laptop to the one that is working?

An external monitor or a TV can work if the laptop is booting into windows.

While in windows press the hotkey windows + p, release the buttons and press these two again. Hit enter.

Another laptop will only work if it has a video in port, which most laptops don´t have.

Which faulty laptop model is it?
