I was wondering if some of you notebook gurus can hook me up on some links for gaming barebone notebooks, ive built desktops quite a few and im looking at building my first notebook. All i would need is like suppliers for the video cards and just general links that i would need to get started.

Thanks
mike

Yeah, you can find some barebones notebook places, but the prices for processors and graphics cards are exorbitant, not to mention you have to make completely sure that the graphics card will actually fit (a lot of companies have their own versions of the "standardized" MXM slots).

There's a small section for barebones notebooks there, though that's based in Canada.

Take a look at the Battalion 101 D901C-U 17" WUXGA 1920X1200 Widescreen LCD TFT Notebook at ibuypower.com and take a looky at the upgrades!!!

Can't say I am a fan of IBuyPower.

Most cases it is actually cheaper to buy it customized off a website. Sager notebooks tend to have some of the best price/performance/build quality out there.
