Burned Photos to DVD. Tried using it but it says there's no files but shows the disc space being taken up

What DVD drive are you using, what DVD type, and what "burning software?

Did you try the DVD on another computer?

You need to work through the burning process to determine what went astray.

Try burning some other file formats. Try some other burner app.

Maybe the DVD was not formatted correctly. Or even if so, could be in a manner that only the creating DVD drive can read the DVD. Not other DVD drives...

DVD standard may not match the DVD disc. Lots of possible combinations and there is some conflict even if the specifications match.

Maybe the burning process failed due to software: the application itself or the read/write to disk.

Possibly a physical DVD drive reader problem. Trying a slower "write" might fix things.

Make sure you have backup copies of your photos somewhere else.

If possible, reformat the failed DVD and start over. Maybe do just a few photographs and verify all of the formating settings carefully before starting the burn.
