Buy a new headset

Looking to buy a new pair of headsets, any ideas? i had a razer 7.1 timat before, need something good for movies/music. My budget is pretty open so shoot away

if you want the best quality, i would suggest looking at headphone + mic + possibly soundcard or dac+amp solutions. those are going to be far better than any gaming headset will be although are going to end up costing at least a bit more.

i know you said open budget however are we talking sub$100, somewhere around $300, more? less?.

also, you said headset but said music and movies... did you mean headphones or did you need a mic at all?

Yeah around 300 is good, i just want something better than the one i had, and i dont really need a mic

Never knew there was so many options to headsets tbh, so i cant really say. I have never tried the amp and isnt the soundcard usually inside my pc? I dont really have a big head or ears nor do i wear any glasses but i do prefer big headsets that covers all my ears just like the razer timat i mentioned.
