Buying a TV

Hi there, I'm buying a tv that will be used as a gaming monitor for my PC as well as my Xbox, and of course will also be a tv.

My main concern right now is that I can switch back and forth between these three modes and not see any lag while playing xbox or pc games, and still have a decent tv for movies and the like.

What I want;

30-42 inches
under $600
Doesn't look absolutely ridiculous

any new TV should do tbh
may I suggest LG TVs though, very good quality

Okay, well, I had my xbox hooked up to a different tv in my house and when I would play Call of Duty there would be lag from the time I pushed the toggle stick on the controller to when my guy would move.

I don't have this issue with my old 32" Magnavox lcd.

Anyone know what might be causing that issue?
