can a hp 15 pavilion notebook run skyrim

My xbox recently broke and all my skyrim progress was lost, but i do have a hp 15 notebook pc, i was thinking about getting skyrim but im not sure wether it will run

Well HP made several versions of the 15 pavilion notebook, and different options for each of those versions.

Thus you could have anything from a Celeron with integrated graphics and bere minimum memory (which would be a flat out no) to a quad core with dedicated GPU that could actually play games.

With that said the laptop will never play games better then the xbox; the 360's games are designed to play on the hardware in the xbox 360, PC games are designed to play on potentially much better hardware then your pavilion laptop will have.

Now no matter what the laptop is not going to be better at playing
