Can dayz standalone run on my laptop?

Core i5 6200U
Nvidia GeForce 940mx (2gb)
8gb Ram

And also can i ask in what settings possible to play the game decently

Yes. My wife's Daily can run it fine (i5-5200u, 940m)

You should be able to run it at high settings @720p in my experience.
