have a reg tv with rca jacks on it and have a blue ray player cAN I GET THESE TWO THINGS TOGETHER AT ALL AND WORJING WITHOUT HAVEING TO GO AND BUY A NEW HD TV ALL WE DO IS WATCH MOVIES THATS ALL NO CABLE AT ALL JUST A BLUE RAY PLAYER AND A OLD TV

Solution
Not likely. For a blu-ray player to work, all components (the player, the cable, and the TV) need to be HDCP compliant. If your TV has component RCA inputs (Red/Blue/Green video + Red/White audio), then you *might* be able to use some sort of digital to analog converter, but I don't know of any that are HDCP compliant. If your TV does not have component inputs, it's a moot point. You'd need to get a new TV.
