Can I hook up cable box to hdtv with Rca connectors

Coax connector broke off newer hdtv. Has cra connectors on back of tv. Can I get a cable with coax on one side and rca on other. Will it work from cable box to tv?

The coax input is an RF (radio frequency) signal. The RCA connectors are for line-level inputs. Your cable box may have RCA outputs, but you can't directly convert the coax to RCA without some kind of tuner box.

"RCA" is a very generic connector used mostly for audio but video for old TVs as well. So you have to be specific, WHAT RCA? What labelings on the connectors in question?

if the TV box RCA is labeled VIDEO OUT, and your TV has a RCA VIDEO IN, then most likely yes.
