can I install pre outs on an old receiver

I have a Technics SA 8000x receiver. Can pre out be added so I can use it as preamphooked to a Nikko Alpha 130 amp. I would find a tech to do this as its wise to do so

Get the service manual for your receiver (there are sites which sell it for under $5), and ask/ pay someone who knows to do it.

If you want a quick and dirty way to try it then use the headphone output on the receiver as the levels are generally very close to line level which is what the pre outs are.
