can i put an Alpine dvc 12" sub in a klh aws12 200w 12"home theater front-firing sub

I'm afraid of blowing the amp... the sub is 4 ohms, and I believe the amp in the KLH is 8ohm output..I can bridge the Alpine to 8oms..is that the correct way?...it seems to be working quite well so far, just need to be sure it wont over heat amp...thx.

Depends on how good the amp in the subwoofer is and how hard you are pushing it to drive the woofer..
Using the woofer as 8 ohms would be safer. Try it and if you are happy leave it at 8 ohms.
