I want to upgrade the graphics card of my ASUS ROG G56JR laptop which is already 1 year old from its first release. It is still a very powerful laptop and most of the games I played are at the high to very high setting (graphics and video quality) but I am thinking if it is possible to upgrade the video card for future games.
Laptops are not meant to have part upgrades, their motherboards are picky and their batteries precisely made to supply up to a certain amount. hypothetically a 960M would be a possible upgrade as it will use less power but be slightly better, but at that point it is not worth the price. as with any laptop upgrade, you risk trashing the whole laptop.
