Can I upgrade my CPU?

I have quite a bad processor, and game quite often. Of course I'm past buying a new pc or laptop, so I'm going to upgrade this one. But will my laptop be able to handle it? It almost never is heated and I feel like it can handle it but I'm not sure. If you want the name of my laptop here is is
Lenovo Ideapad 300 15IBR- That's right, I have a Pentium processor (quad core at 1.6 GHz and my bios is locked) ... I'm thinking of getting an i3 processor maybe 2.6 ghz or 2.4 ghz, will my laptop handle this voltage?

You can't upgrade the processor on that model. It uses a Ball-Grid-Array (BGA) socket CPU which is soldered onto the motherboard.

Just a question, if I buy a new mother board, will I be able to upgrade then?

No. I think you would be better off just selling that one and getting another laptop with a better CPU.
