Hi,
I got lots of dead pixels on my Lenovo g510 and I decided to change the screen. Its only 1366x768, and I thought it is an opportunity to upgrade to 1920x1080p.
I learned that my laptop uses 1 Channel 40Pin LVDS and what I need is 2 Channel 40Pin.

What I wonder is, if I change it to 2 Channel 40p, will a full hd screen work?

And the real thing I wonder is, will I be able to change my cable to the 2 Channel one. I searched photos of those lvds cables and the two seem so different.
This is an original LVDS cable for Lenovo G510. The smallest socket on the cable has 4 pins.

And if you look at the 2 Channel LVDS cables

You see on the smallest socket, the pins are more than four.

So, will it fit to my motherboard? (I actually don't know where they get plugged. I will go to a technical service for the replacement.)

Thanks in advance, and have a good day :)
