I currently have an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz and NVIDIA GeForce 940 MX GDDR5 2GB. Are these parts replaceable or soldered?

1st Upgrade: RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB
Slot 1: Crucial DDR4-2132 (1066MHz) Dual 8GB Stick
Slot 2: SK Hynix DDR4-2400 (1200MHz) Single 8GB Stick (Factory)

2nd Upgrade: HDD TO SSD
SATA Slot: Crucial CT1000MX500SSD1 1TB SSD
M.2 Slot: Crucial CT275MX300SSD4 275 GB SSD

Despite these upgrades, the boot-up is slow, load times are slow, google chrome keeps crashing, WiFi keeps disconnecting. Any mistake in my upgrades?

Try a clean setup of Windows, then run the driver updates from Dell support site. Maybe the second RAM stick is causing issues also.

Solution
You really shouldn't use any aftermarket parts if you can get your hands on OEM ones. The former just isn't worth the possible problems just to get something cheaper.

Also, you could also consider an external WiFi.
