can i use 19 v battery charger of laptop to charge 14.4 v battery of cordless drill?

After you've spent the money to by the required parts to reduce that 19v down to 14.4v, and modified the connectors to fit...you'll have spent more than just buying the correct charger for the drill.
Oh, and you'll probably let the smoke out of one or both ends of the chain...the battery or the laptop charger.


Can it be done? Probably.
Can you do it? Probably not.

You should never use a higher power cord for anything that is a lower wattage, most times it will overheat what is being charged, it will fry circuit boards and that will lead you to a huge expense. I know this because I plugged the wrong cord into something of lower wattage and it fried the board...
 


I think you were talking about voltage rather than power.

You are right I should have read what I wrote, It's not a good idea mixing chargers from one voltage to another, some need the bigger adapter to run the laptop and some use a lower voltage for a different item. Always check the voltage and only use the recommended.
