can i use my old home theater without hdmi from led tv

I have a lg 42la6200 3d ledtv which supports only arc and optical and my philips home theater is of old model which does not have any hdmi or optical port. I have connected my setopbox(without hdmi) audio out to home theater and video out to tv and is working well.
But when I want to play movie with pendrive through tv usb port or play installed game on tv ,I am not able to connect my home theater as there is no hdmi and optical port. Is it possible to have a sound in my home theater through my tv.

You can connect an RCA audio lead from the TV audio out to an input on the home theatre.
The sound will be stereo, not surround.

If your Philips has analog stereo L/R inputs you can get a DAC like this

to feed the TV audio into it. You can get Dolby Prologic surround sound but digital surround.
