Can I use my Samsung SIM card in my Kyocera phones

I want to put my Samsung SIM card into my Kyocera phone. Is this possible? It keeps asking me for the SIM card network unlock pin. I do not know what this would be. Any help is appreciated.

contact the kyocera service provider to unlock the phone.
