Can my speakers get damaged?

I've just ordered Corsair's SP2500 2.1 speakers, but is it a possibility they will get damaged if I use my built in sound card on my Asus Sabertooth 990 fx motherboard instead of buying a good sound card?

Probably a stupid question but I'm just making sure nothing will go wrong.

They should be perfectly fine. On board sound is very good on almost on mobos.
