Can only premium users collaborate on a playlist?

Can only premium users collaborate on a playlist? It looks some of my friends who are not premium can´t add their songs to my playlist which I have made collaborative...

Not much info there - I have followed all the steps they list - but it only works with some of my friends but not all..weird..and no mention about premium...

The only clue of sharing playlists having limitations might be when members are in different countries with different rights in terms of available music. This is a head scratcher and one you should pursue with the Spotify forum. If you learn anything, please follow-up here. Good luck.
