Question Can paint dropping cause 2TVs horizontal pixel damage

So I bought me my 1st 4K vizio TV for my playstation5... I was very happy with it for over a year then all the sudden 2 horizontal black lines appeared at the top kind of flashing like a calculator display and they grew bigger and then eventually like 1/2 of the screen light screen like freezes at the picture and flickers like it's ghosting the image it's kind of strange so I was all depressed thinking oh vizio's broken only lasted a year and here's black Friday coming up so I'm gonna get me a new TV while I've been using this really small junkie TV and now it has a horizontal line across it as well so what's going on here.. Now I'm nervous to buy a new TV because why is it happening to this other TV now ..my friend does alot of splatter painting can like fine mist or droplets cause this to happen by getting to the back of tv?
