Ihav a acer 5520 here keeps going on and of asif its overheating
I replaced heat paste
But still does the same thing
It also doesnt even go in the bios
Nothing behind that point just on off
On off
Help please

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help. It may not be a overheating problem rather a battery or the AC adapter.
- Do test the AC adapter and battery first.
- Remove the battery off the laptop then connect it directly to it's AC adapter and observe if the laptop will still shutdown or not.
- Do try a different AC adapter as well that has the same voltage and see if the same problem will persist or not.

Fortunately it still does the same thing.

r u getting post???...u cant get into bios until u get a post...
have u considered changing the power chord or battery???...just for testing atleast...

No no the screen doesnt even go on
And i did everything possible
Replaced batt
Rplaced charger
and i used halnziye grease
