Can this laptop run wow on max settings?

Im looking to buy a laptop and was wondering how well they would run the games I play. Wow, bf4 D3. Max price I can pay is 1500us dollars

Those are all fine, though I would recommend an Asus G750JW or a Clevo P150SM for your budget and needs. You'll get better bang for your buck from those two. There's also the Clevo P170SM which is identical to the P150SM, save for the P150 has a 15.6" screen and the P170 has a 17.3" screen.

Do the GX70 Destroyer. Its got more RAM, and the computer has pretty high ratings. MSI has the second best gaming laptop for this year, and those MSI are part of their gaming series, so its pretty safe to go with them.

Do the GX70 Destroyer. Its got more RAM, and the computer has pretty high ratings. MSI has the second best gaming laptop for this year, and those MSI are part of their gaming series, so its pretty safe to go with them.

The only Concern with the GX70, is the amd cpu and gpu how well does it preform? I've havent really seen any gameplay reviews with the R9-M290x

On a purely objective note: the A series from AMD is not very powerful. A8s and A10s compete with i3 CPUs, so you can imagine that an i5 and i7 outperforms the APUs with flying colors. The R9s are good and really are more or less renamed 8970Ms.

Heck, how can 1800 shader units be bad? Weird enough, my old GTX 460 can hit 999 Gigaflops. I suppose that is a testament to that GPU. Its the 768MB model too.

Where are you getting 1800 shader units from? And it sounds like you're going on about the GPU, where as I completely agree with you that the 8970M/R9 is a good card. It's the A series APUs that leave something to be desired in terms of computational prowess.

It's pretty good. I cannot advocate an SSD enough. It made my macbook pro with an 2.9Ghz i7 get beat out by a i5 at 2.5Ghz, by 200 points on the geek bench score. EDIT-My old Macbook Pro, I now have a retina with the flash storage, even faster than an SSD.

No contest, the A series leaves something to be desired on the flop end. Sorry, mistype, the R9 has 1280 shader cores and 80 texture units.
