Can this laptop support games like tf2 or dota?

Planning to get this laptop https://www.asus.com/Notebooks/E202SA/ for college and I was wondering if it can support tf2, at least at 720p? I worry because of the weak processor and tf2 is so cpu hungry. I won't be using it as my main gaming rig of course, but I can't lug my desktop (that I have yet to build cause of the gtx1070 stocks) everywhere just to play a short game of tf2.

I hope to achieve at least 60 fps without drops, at any resolution, so if 800x600 is the only way, I will use it.

Actually I played all my games in 800x600 in the past before upgrading, so I might survive. But can it even run smoothly then?

I would sort of be surprised if it handles it well, though the higher end quad core Pentium chip stands the best chance.

Personally, for college I would really suggest not having a desktop..

I'll actually be commuting from home, so the laptop will mainly be for a quick research and slight entertainment. The only time i might ply games on this is if i am bored. also i will probably get this before my desktop, and i already promised to give my y50 with an 860m to my brother.

I would've gotten a better laptop/netbook if i could, but most of my budget is in my pc build..

Id suggest looking for another laptop at the same cost as this one. You might find a better laptop.
I found a review on this laptop that might give you second thoughts on considering this laptop for college:

The review is for another model, with 32gb storage, and an intel atom processor.
Of course if anyone can find another laptop of the same cost with better components, and does not look like a tank, please send me a link
