Can you get a speaker control box for under £20

I want to get a control box for my speakers so I can control the bass, sound etc. and wondered if there was one for around £20 as most of them are more than my speakers

This "Control box" is called "Audio equalizer", and it is plugged between the audio source (eg your audio player), and the amplifier' input where these speakers are connected. And I doubt it will cost 20 quids...

If you are looking for something to put on speaker' wires - you are looking at the wrong place.

If you are doing this from a PC, there maybe a software solution.

Don't expect to fix the limitations of cheap speakers with EQ. You will be able to make them a tad better. When you boost 3db you are asking for twice the power and can stress and even damage speakers.
If you can't use software then a used EQ might help but as you say would cost more than you are looking to spend. Save you money and get better speakers or add a subwoofer.

For $5.95 you would get just plastic caps to put over pots.
But on that same page, there is an equalizer for $19.99 😉
