Can you pair an Ipad 3 with a Bose Soundlink II?

Is it possible to pair a Bose Soundlink II bluetooth speaker with an iPad 3?

I did pair a cheap chinese made bluetooth speaker with my average 7-inch tablet by simply turning on the speaker and bluetooth of the tablet, then searching for the bluetooth speaker and pairing them both which eventually resulted in the bluetooth speaker "saying" it was paired successfully. It worked fine and automatically paired when needed.

I did as you suggested, but I had to turn off bluetooth and delete the device from the iPad and then turn bluetooth back on and the iPad found the speaker. Thank you so much for your answer and so quickly too. I appreciate it very much.

Well bluetooth speakers by different companies will vary in the process of "pairing", also worked with my desktop though not well enough due to an outdated bluetooth dongle on my desktop. Enjoy.
