Cannot find a new Laptop Screen

Hello Tom's Guide Forums.

A few months ago a buddy of mine stepped on my laptop and the screen shattered. It still works, but there is a spidering crack that moves from the center to the edges, making it hard to work on. The model number is the HP-Y013CL. I've already looked on the PartSurfer on the HP website and they're charging 700 dollars to order a new screen, which is outrageous considering that is how much I spent when buying the laptop. I can't seem to find it on a third party website either. Any suggestions?

Check eBay? If HP does not have it at a normal price, nor eBay and a web search comes up with nothing, then you are stuck.

This site lists a lot of screens but not all are in stock https/www.laptopscreen.com/English/series/HP-Compaq/ENVY/
