Vaio VPCEH35FM/P- PCG-71913l originally ran windows 7 64bit home premium, within 3mths the webcam stopped working, sent it to Sony for repair & they returned it in worse condition. Since I've had to uninstall & reinstall the os 2x's still no webcam etc, finally we put Windows 7 64bit ultimate on and I have been attempting to reinstall the original Sony applications etc, and still no webcam!! Sony will not do anything to help correct this issue, in fact they refuse to even discuss anything, I have contacted Sony & Encompass via email or tele at least 1x per week for MONTHS!!! I am hoping someone has the recovery media kit they wouldn't mind burning a copy and or anyone who can help me determine the "original" pre-installed Sony applications/ drivers as well any clue as to getting the webcam installed? I appreciate any help!! Lastly- any possible way to recover my hard drive? I have been unable to utilize any of the recovery/ system images & backups I created either!
Note: the original factory installed Windows version for that model is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Make sure you select that version in the drop-down box where it says "Select an Operating System to see the files".
