my printer shows error 6000, what does it mean?

The standard advice for that error code is as follows:

If any object is placed in front of the machine, remove it. (The paper output tray could be being blocked, according to this error code.)
Open the Paper Output Tray gently, then turn the power off and back on.

In all other cases:

Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. After a minute or two, plug the machine back in and turn the machine back on. If the problem is not resolved, then your printer will need servicing.
