Can't decide between these two mid-range laptops.

I need to buy the laptop soon since I move back to school in two weeks but I'm really stumped on which one to get. My biggest concern is how the CPUs stack up since I really can't find out much info on the T5850. I really need help if someone can explain to me which one would be the best choice in the long run. Thanks!

edit: My primary concern is gaming performance.

The one with the Geforce 8600 is the way to go then, although the other one will be a bit faster in non gaming tasks.

Both are good,HD 2600 and 8600MGT perform like each other mostly.

Not at all. The differences are fairly minor, with the nvidia slightly winning on graphics, and the other one slightly winning on CPU.

This is mainly what I'm concerned about at this point. It seems like the nvidia card stomps the ati one.
