can't get flash player, what do I have to do to get it

Adobe flash player won't work, all i get is a blank screen, can't play games and friends videos won't play the screen just blurs

What OS? Any error messages or pop-ups?

Suggest the following:

Uninstall.

Download applicable version via Adobe.

Reinstall.
