Can't get tv to channel 3 and have no remote and no menu button on TV

Have an old Toshiba tv but no remote and need to get to channel 3 for cable with no menu button and channel 3 isn't programmed

Go buy a cheap all in one remote. My local dollar store sell's universal remotes for like $2

... of find a friend with Sony XPeria smartphone whch has IR emiter. There are other smartphones (older models, usually) which have IR.
