Hey so I've been having some real trouble with using both the mic and my headphones at the same time. My computer has a mixer instead of 2 jacks for mic and audio and my head set has 2 separate cables for them. To fix this, I first bought an audio mic splitter (picture below), but I still couldn't get the mic to work. Finally, after reading online, I bought a USB sound card (pictures below) that has a jack for mic and audio. However, I STILL can't get the mic on my headset to work. It keeps using the default laptop mic instead. Also, I have Realtek HD Audio manager and it's a bitch to deal with. The third picture shows my recording and the fourth shows the sound devices I have enabled / disabled. PLEASE HELP!!!
